First of all, I'd like to apologize for my site being constantly down. My hosting service is absolutely unreliable and I need to move off it. If anyone knows of a reliable hosting service that offers Java jsp/servlet support, please leave a comment and let me know.
That said, on to the photo... this weekend was a very pleasant surprise in NYC. The forecast called for thunderstorms on Saturday, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Yuri and I spent a very happy day together in Central Park, enjoying the wonderful summer day. I had my new camera with me and it got tons of use in the park.
This was the very first frame I shot this weekend, so I thought it'd be an appropriate way to kick off the park series I'm sure I'll be posting this week.

• This is fabulous. The tonality is to die for, and such a sublime moment. The couple in the distance is a nice added touch.

• Before last week, I would have recommended my provider. They still aren't so bad but I just didn't like how they took down my site without any communication.

• Nice. The exposure on this adds a lot of impact, I like it. I also dig the use of B&W, it gives it a different feel. Almost vintage, but not quite.

• Thanks all. Auds, the original shot is in color. I do shoot in B/W mode sometimes when I'm in the right mindframe for it. But you get a lot more control over how to convert to B/W if you start from a color image.
